Billing and subscription
How to subscribe
- On the website: choose your plan (monthly or yearly) on the plans page and pay. You need a paid plan to open an account; people invited to a company's panel sign in without a plan of their own.
- After paying you land on sign-up with the email you paid with already filled in: accept the Terms, enter the 6-digit code we send you, and your account is created with the plan active. If the email isn't there, enter the same one you paid with.
- From the app, in Plans, you can change plans (see "Changing plans" below). The payment is processed securely.
When you are charged
- All plans, monthly and yearly, renew on their anniversary: each period starts on the day you subscribed (or the day you last upgraded). The first charge covers a full period, with no proration.
- Yearly plans: yearly equals 10 months — 2 months free versus monthly.
- Discount codes only apply to monthly plans; if you move to a yearly plan, the discount stops applying.
- If a charge fails, we retry it and you'll see the "Payment pending" notice; meanwhile you keep access. If it isn't resolved, the subscription is canceled and you lose access to your account until you subscribe to a plan again.
Changing plans
In Plans, click Subscribe on the plan you want to move to.
- Upgrading is charged immediately, with no extra confirmation step: you pay the full new period, minus the unused part of your previous plan, and your renewal date becomes today. The new plan, with its volume limit, applies once the payment completes. If your bank asks for extra verification or declines the charge, we take you to the invoice to pay it; until then you stay on your current plan, and if you don't pay it, the change expires in about 24 hours.
- Downgrading applies at your next renewal: until that date you keep the plan you paid for, nothing else is charged and the difference is not refunded. In Plans you'll see the notice "Your plan will change to … on …"; if you change your mind, click Keep my plan and the change is canceled at no cost.
- Enterprise can't be subscribed to from the app: click Contact sales.
You can't change plans while:
- your subscription is set to cancel: reactivate it first from Manage subscription;
- you have a downgrade scheduled and want to upgrade: click Keep my plan first;
- you have an upgrade awaiting payment and want to downgrade or keep your current plan: pay it or wait for it to expire.
Managing or canceling
The Manage subscription button opens your billing portal, where you can:
- View and download your invoices.
- Update your payment method.
- Cancel the subscription — it takes effect at the end of the paid period: you keep access until that date and it doesn't renew again. Until then you can reactivate it from the same portal.
Cancel or delete? If you just want to stop paying, cancel the subscription: your account keeps existing, but once the paid period ends you won't be able to sign in. To come back, subscribe to a plan again on the plans page with the same email and sign in with the code we'll send you. Deleting the account is different: it's permanent and irreversible.
Refunds
Unless applicable law expressly provides otherwise, subscription payments are final and non-refundable once the billing period has started: there are no refunds for unused time, including when you cancel or downgrade (Section 24 of the Terms of Use, Spanish). When you upgrade, the unused part of your previous plan isn't refunded: it is deducted from the new plan's charge.
Subscription statuses
| Status | What it implies |
|---|---|
| Active | Everything operational. |
| Payment pending | A charge failed; settle the payment to keep access. |
| Canceled | Once the paid period ends you lose access: you can't sign in or operate until you subscribe to a plan again. |
